The History of Alcoa Road

Alcoa Road has long been a main vehicle artery connecting areas of Benton and Saline County to major interstates. It was also used as a thoroughfare for workers heading to the Alcoa plant in Benton. As the population of the area has increased, so has traffic on Alcoa Road.

The construction project is expected to require thirty months from start to finish, depending on the weather.
